Meet ElISABETTA
I grew up in Milan, Italy, where design is part of everyday life, and went on to study architecture at the Politecnico of Milano. During my Master’s, I discovered yacht design—and with it, a deep appreciation for precision, discipline, and beauty in constraint. In that world, every inch has a purpose and every detail must perform flawlessly. That mindset reshaped how I approach interiors, and it continues to inform my work today.
I founded Pianta Design in Miami in 2008, and over the years the practice has expanded across the country, from San Francisco to our newest home in Park City, Utah.
We take on full-scale residential projects, remodels, custom furniture and lighting design, always working closely with our clients, their architects and builders. Our process is collaborative and highly tailored—no two projects look alike, because no two clients live alike.
As an architect, I’m especially passionate about interior architecture projects that allow us to reimagine a space from within—reshaping not just its layout, but the way it feels and functions. This process gives me the opportunity to design truly cohesive, one-of-a-kind environments that are deeply aligned with each client’s personality and lifestyle.
When I step away from design, I’m most often on horseback. My family and I spend as much time as we can exploring the American West—riding trails, discovering new landscapes, and staying connected to the land that inspires so much of my work.
I also serve as a Search and Rescue volunteer, an experience that keeps me grounded and constantly reminds me of the importance of awareness, responsibility, and care for others.
I believe the best design begins with listening—understanding how people live, what they value, and what makes a space truly their own.
Let’s talk.
